Professional Standards

Code of Conduct

The standards expected of every NSFT candidate and credential holder.

Template document — to be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

NSFT is a private professional education organization, not a government or statutory body. NSFT certifications are not government-issued licenses.

Certification does not guarantee employment, income, or acceptance by any employer, insurer or jurisdiction.

Integrity & Honesty

Candidates and credential holders act honestly in all dealings with clients, employers, colleagues and NSFT.

Examination Integrity

Cheating, impersonation, the use of unauthorized materials and the reproduction or sharing of examination items are prohibited.

Scope of Practice

Credential holders do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for medical conditions, and do not provide medical nutrition therapy. Clients presenting with conditions outside a trainer's scope are referred to an appropriately qualified professional.

Client Safety & Duty of Care

Credential holders screen clients appropriately, plan sessions with safety as the first priority and respond responsibly to incidents.

Confidentiality

Client information is kept confidential and shared only with consent or where required by law.

Respect & Non-Discrimination

Clients and colleagues are treated with dignity and without discrimination of any kind.

Accurate Representation of Credentials

Credential holders use the exact credential title and registry number issued by NSFT, and do not claim government licensure or qualifications they do not hold.

Misuse of Marks & Logo

The NSFT name, crest and marks may be used only as authorized. Altering a digital ID or credential, or implying endorsement by NSFT, is prohibited.

Disciplinary Process & Credential Revocation

Alleged breaches are investigated under a fair process. Outcomes may include a warning, suspension or revocation of the credential, which is then reflected in the public registry.

Reporting Concerns

Concerns about the conduct of a candidate or credential holder may be reported to support@nsftacademy.com.
